hello,

i'm new to this forum and very glad to still find an active community on the beautiful game that GTR2 still is.
I would like to be able to play online with you (i am very angry to have missed the opportunity to drive in Aero 8...)
the problem is I can't connect..
my version is still a Simbin CD one but I cannot access the lobby (while my version is 1.1.0.0).
Is there something special I am missing there ?

please help !!!

schielchen OFFLINE Routinier [A-Team] Beiträge: 710	Hi Thibal and welcome Version 1.1 is the right one. I'm not sure if a noCD patch is necessary, but it is conveniant. Have you installed our updater and downloaded all the content?

Mostly with the mail address. Update. I do not find you in the lobby with that name. Updater was finished? that sets your Gtr2 correctly. There is also an old SimBim lobby.

I will try as soon as the update is complete. I really would have loved to ride with you guys yesterday as for once, I was at my place in week time !!

Can you look up the lobby section in your Autoupdater? You should find that under "Configuration - Settings - Lobby".
If it looks like this we at least know you´re trying to access our lobby and not the old SimBin lobby:

- If it looks different, then you should download the Lobby Patch here and extract the files into your main GTR 2 folder.
- In case you´re already trying to access our lobby, I´m unfortunately not the right one to talk to as Nobody knows way more about the lobby stuff.
