Was hat der erreichbare Topspeed mit der Schnelligkeit eines Fahrers zutun?
Knowing the top speed helps a lot in determining whether or not your car/setup is suited for competetion or not.
Example, when I choose an online race with LOLA Champ cars, and I don't put any setup, the cars blast by as if I'm standing still, all of which while I'm putting the pedal to the floor.
In an 8 laps race I get lapped twice, even when I go off track just once. Because of another problem, it' also very diffucult to get to know the fastest lap time, or any time of any driver for that matter, during a race. Also not knowing top speed difference is a problem, since you don't know how much you are missing. I was guessing some 50 to 75kmh on the fastest part of that track (fast track), but I'll guess one never knows since you have to open up the PBB website on another computer, or another screen, and that is just not very efficient, nor cheap. And, it doesn't work in offline races.
So, that's one answer I guess. But, if you're driving in first position, I guess that info is unnecessary, I would agree.
