Hi all Sorry but I can only speak some German and not fluently. I only do it in school :P

So back to Topic: I installed the Golf Gti mod for Race07 but I dont know where to put it

I put in currently in Program Files/Steam/Steamapps/RBalfour679/Race07/Gamedata

Is that correct :S :unsure:

Hi Ross,

yes its correct .../gamedata/Teams.
Best is to use our Downloadscript. It put the Golf Datas in the correct files. It`s the easiest way.

Important for the GTI-Mod is the changed Menu-Layout (separate download) and to start the game from the separate .exe.
As mentioned before, try the auto-updater, it's the easiest way...

Ok so once I download the auto-updater and the menu mod on my desktop im good to go???

..if you install the auto-updater and read the explanations on its download-area everything will go with just one klick.
If not, just ask here, but it's all explained carefully

English Readme:

1) download and install Phyton-Interpreter


2) Download and install Windows-Extension (wxPhyton)


3) Create an empty folder for example "Autoupdate" with enough space (xx GB) for all downloads apart from game installation. It´s ment to be an archive for all downloaded files from the Bude.


4) Extract files from Bierbuden-Auto-Updater 2.1 (this site) into the folder


5) Doubleklick on script file pilsbierbude_en.pyw starts the setup-wizzard, which configures following informations one time:

*
username and password (=registration on Bude)
*
folder of game-installation
*
"Archive-Folder" for downloaded .zip files

Now script scans the given installation for installed cars & tracks. This process may take a few minutes depending on performance of your machine. The amount of files to be downloaded resp. files found local in "archive" folder is listed at the end of the progress. Download AND AUTOMATIC UNPACKING will follow on confirmation (Please note: complete download may be time consuming according to internet connection - avoid other bandwith consuming tasks while downloading) - Go on track!

For future updates you´ll only need to use the button "actualize" in Windows GUI

If asked for the actual download-ticket, you´ll find the code on website (bottom-left, must be logged in)

Important: all downloaded files will be put in "archive"-folder and should be left there. On completely re-installing the game these files needn´t to be downloaded again but will be extracted automatically anyway. So a complete install won´t take longer than a few minutes! Amazing!

Bierbuden Autoupdate is a tool for file-synchronisation between your local
game installation and the game servers of bierbuden.de. The intended purpose
of this software is to allow users to join the game server of bierbuden.de
in an easy, fast and comfortable way, without the trouble of downloading
all needed files manually. Less file management - more racing. The use of
the Bierbuden Autoupdate software is free of charge as long as the
intention of using this software is as above described. Any other intended
use is prohibited without the explicit written authorisation of the
website-operator of bierbuden.de (Diese E-Mail-Adresse ist vor Spambots geschützt! Zur Anzeige muss JavaScript eingeschaltet sein!).


Installation
============
1) Download and install the Python 2.5 - interpreter.
(see Bierbuden website or www.python.org)

2) Download and install the wxPython 2.8 (Unicode) - library.
(see Bierbuden website or www.wxpython.org)

3) Create an empty folder, e.g. "Autoupdate", separated from your local
game installation, which has at least enough space (more than 5 GB
recommended) for all oncoming downloads. Its purpose is to be an archive
for all downloaded files from the Bude.

4) Extract all files from the zip file "Bierbuden-Autoupdater 2.1"
(available on the Bierbuden websites) into the created folder.

5) Execute the script-file "pilsbierbude_en.pyw" with a double-click. This
opens the setup-wizard, which leads you through the configuration of all
essential information on its startup:

- username and password (= your account data from the Bude )
- the folder of your game installation
- the "Archive Folder" for your downloads from the "Bude"

After that the script scans your game installation for all installed
cars & tracks. This process may take a few minutes, depending on your
hardware configuration. All files to be downloaded and all files (if any)
found in your local "archive folder" are listed at the end of this
process. DOWNLOADING AND SELF-EXTRACTING of all listed files will start
after confirmation. Please note, that completing all downloads,
especially the huge amount of data when downloading for the first time,
may take a while depending on your internet connection, so you should
cancel all other bandwidth-sucking tasks while downloading.

6) Ladies and gentlemen! Start your engines! :-)


For oncoming updates you'll only have to use the button "actualize" at the
scripts GUI. If you are asked for an actual download-ticket, go to the
Buden website, scroll down and check the frame "Autodownload", located at
the bottom-left of the Buden website. Note: You have to be logged-in
to make the download-ticket visible!

Important: all downloaded files will be saved in the "Archive Folder" and,
of course, they should be left there. On a complete reinstallation of the
game these files don't have to be downloaded again, but will be extracted
automatically by the script. So a complete reinstallation won't take
longer than a few minutes! Amazing, huh? B-)

The Autoupdater now comes with a (more or less) complete documentation
which covers all functions and features of the program. It is accessable
through the "Information" button at the scripts GUI or the F1 key. So if
you are facing any problems, please check out the documentation first.

There must be a file in your downloaded zip file called weissbierbude_en.pyw

You have to extract this file.
