Hello:

Recently I had to format my PC due some problems with it.

I downloaded today the "AutoUpdater" software but, when I try to install it (full installation) I always get the same message error.

Whet AutoUpdater starts to download files from the server, the software gives me the following error:

"Dowload failed: web.rennsimulanten.de/autouupate/boot/altbierbude_client.zip"

I have tried to unchek in the installation program all the updater except rFactor, but have a similar error.

I only need the autoupdater to installl Rennsimulanten/BockBierBude files, because I havve all files downloaded to an external hard disk.

Hope someone could help me with this little problem.

Hello again:

I had to format again because one of my hard disks didn't work properly.

I am triyng to install AutoUpdater again on my Windows XP, so I do all the steps on the link 2 posts above but, in the last step (installing rsim_rf_client), I get the following error:

Exception: No internet connection exists or the internet connection is not allowed.
Please check your firewall, proxy and router settings.

I have my internet connection OK (I am writing this post from my internet connection), and I don't have any kind of firewall active (I work with XP SP3 and ESET NOD32 AntiVirus).

Any idea to solve this? I hope I can run on Monday if I can solve this problem.
