When to take a stop and go to avoid DQ 13 Mar 2016 13:14 #313870

At last nights Le Mans I did a deliberate cut of the track to avoid an accident on lap one. Later in the race I accidentally cut the track and got a second warning. Half way through the race I cut the track again to avoid an accident and got a 'stop-go' penalty. I was having a good race so waited until the radio man said to come in. Because my garage was a long way past the start line I was disqualified. This was despite me traveling down the pit lane at the correct speed at the time to take my stop and go penalty.

I just thought I should share this for anybody who did not already know. :)
