Schade, waere genau mein Ding gewesen... :)

Naja,sei`s drum...

Rennen findet unter Flutlichtbedingungen statt, Wetter trocken.
Da die Strecke ausreichend beleuchtet ist, braucht man kein Licht.

Also, viel Spass & viel Erfolg.

Gruss

Shadow

Hello All,

I have regularly monitor your website for news, cars and tracks for GTR2 and have downloaded even some! You guys are doing a really good job and you should keep it up!!!

I have been trying to get my friend involved so we can do some endurance races together and I think he is about ready to make his first attempt (along with me of course).

I would LOVE to participate in the Singapore race you put for this weekend, unfortunately I don't know or understand (sorry - not a German speaker) the details how. Is it simply joining one of the servers from #1-#7 or is it something special (special password, carpack, regular member of series)?

Thank you very much for your help,
George Angelidis

P.S: I am fine with English, Greek and Italian if anyone is more familiar with one language more than another.

So, let's explain. :)

If you have downloaded all the content, you can join the servers #1 to #4 I think (it's depending from the participating users).

The race is free for all, so everybody can join (if you have all the cars from the updater).

A password is normally set only on server #3 (for the teamspeak users), but because of less attendance on #3, the password was removed (after this, the user count is increasing).

I hope it's all well explained and sorry for my english. Not my mother tongue :P

greetings!

btw: My GTR2-folder is momentarily about 29 gigabytes big, so I advice you to let your pc downloading the content over the night.

Thank you very much Mahogani!

And your English is PERFECT. Don't worry about it :cheer:

Just to make sure, which version of the track are you using? The Singapore GP ´08 or _SingaporeGP2008???

Which specific versions of the cars??? Or am I missing completely something here :S

Sorry... I am new to this...

Hey ;) no problem :P

I think we are using the Singapore GP 08. And if you click on the main site on the "information" button, than you can see the cars which are taking part in the race.

And just by the way again: If you like, you can join us at the teamspeak at the event. So we can talk a little bit if any misunderstandings are occuring :)

Edit No.2: Have you clicked on the english flag at the top of the page? then it's not so hard to understand. :)

Thanks again!

I looked a little bit more over... It's different from GTR4u, I used to be part looooooooooooooooooooong time ago...

It seems you have this "Updater" that I have to download and "TeamSpeak" and "XD-Tool".

I found the Updater and the XD-Tool (on the "This and That") but I cannot find "Teamspeak" :S

If you tell me where that is, that would help a lot!

2 Questions though:

1) If I download the updater, do the mods/cars I already have stop working?

2) Can I download other mods/cars from other websites and forums after I download the updater?

Thanks again!

P.S: I do. But trust me... I can pretty much understand most of the terms on what you want to say in German... You get used to it very fast after speaking many languages and knowing technical/car terms very well. I used to speak French too at some period of time... I haven't spoken that for almost 8 years:blink:
