Hi everyone, i'm new to this community, so i got a question about the auto updater software.

It scans my files, and then gives me a list of stuff to download, which i did.

The files i allready had:
a) they get transfered to the autoupdater folder?
b) they are left in original folder and are used by the servers?
c) they are left in original folder and are downloaded by the AU creating a double existence?

i haven't tested the software and community yet, but for what i can see and read, it looks an outstanding project, congratulations.

Hello cachirro,

and welcome to the 'red Bude'.

The Autoupdater keep the files in his archive folder to share it with other autoupdate users. If you need to reinstall your rFactor you dont need to download anything.

All Mods exept BBSE-Mods are Original, so its no problem if they are reinstalled again. You can install rFactor two times too, if you want to use some big Mods like VLN or Fia GT.
