Hello Racers,

we are proud to present a new mod to you, which was mostly made by ourselves.

Over the last 3 months the Scirocco R Cup was developed, whose 3D-model, sounds and the physics are orientated on the real Scirocco Cup.

For now server 5 is available for driving and testing of the new mod. In this thread you can leave comments on the mod, report bugs or give general feedback.



Important information (please read!):

In the real Scirocco Cup a boost-function is available, which allows a temporary power-increase from 230bhp to 280bhp to make overtaking easier. For the first time we tried to implement this function into a mod, without an additonal PlugIn being required.

How does this work?

1. You have to assign a button for the function "Temporary Boost".
2. While driving you are able to press this button. As long as the button is pressed, the additional boost is applied.
3. The amount of fuel you have left in the tank is your boost-stock. 1 litre of fuel equals 10 seconds of boost. When driving normally, without boost, the car uses no fuel.
4. The engine temperature limits, how long the boost can be used at a stretch (max. 10 seconds). If the boost is applied engine temperature will rise. Over 150°C the engine will overheat and the engine might blow up! If the engine is hot, you just don't use the boost for a bit, so that the engine can cool down.
5. At the start 16l of fuel are available. Please remember, that the car will begin to stutter, when there is less than 1 litre of fuel in the tank, so the last litre shouldn't be used.
6. Refueling is not possible!

We hope that the typical cup racing has got a additional tactical component to offer, because of the implementation of the boost-system.
