hi , 1st off all u guys wanna respond to me , just write in german! i can understand , not write ,it would look stupid =)
got problem in skinning windows files
when i save a Ferrari skin to .DDS with alpha layer all is ok (template by bramzel)
but when i try this with skin bmw1987 (template from simbin)
it says "to many channels to export (5)" :angry:

Do i need alpha layer? What does it do ? how do i solve this? :kiss:

Hi pSyTech,
just save your Windows file in .tga, then open the tga file and save as .dds. This should work...

Or merge all layers and save as dds. Then undo the merging to keep on working.
